Serie A legend Marek Hamshik believes Osimhen can win Scudetto for Napoli again

Italian Serie A great, Marek Hamshik has singled out Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen as one factor that could help Napoli defend the Scudetto this campaign.

The title holders won their opening two games of the season before losing 2-1 to Lazio but Hamshik is not worried as he expressed confidence in the team’s chances to defend the title just as he asked fans to trust coach Eric Garcia.

“The winner of the title can’t be decided in the third week of the championship, we risk making a fool of ourselves, as Spalletti’s Napoli taught us,” Hamshik told media.

“I don’t forget Milan and Juventus, the values ​​of the teams are known. However, Garcia has men of depth, a project that has been going on for a decade now, Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia.”

Napoli are sitting on sixth on the Serie A log with six points and will be guest to Genoa when the team return from international break.
