Serie B: Raphael Odogwu’s brace earns point for Sudtirol

Nigerian forward, Raphael Odogwu scored two goals to help his Italian Serie B side, Sudtirol to a 2-2 draw with Cagliari on Saturday at the Stadio Marco Druso, Bolzano.
Italian forward, Matteo Rover set up Raphael Odogwu who scored the first goal of the game for Sudtirol in the seventh minute.
Not ready for a second defeat in three games, the visitors equalised in the 39th minute thanks to a goal from Gianluca Lapadula.
Italian defender, Benito Nicolas Viola gave the visitors (Cagliari) the lead for the first time in the game from the penalty spot in the 74th minute.
When it seemed that the visitors will travel back home with a win, Raphael Odogwu struck again. The former Virtus Verona forward converted Sudtirol’s second goal which ensured that the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
Raphael Odogwu played for the duration of the game as he scored his fourth goal in 12 Serie B games this season.
He has also had an assist for Sudtirol.
Scudtirol with 19 points after 12 games occupy the ninth position on the 20-team Serie B log. The team will next face Bari on November 12, 2022, at the Stadio San Nicola, Bari.
