Shooting Stars set to lose Christian Pyagbara to rival NPFL clubs

By Wale Mustapha
Shooting Stars’ striker Christian Pyagbara is uncertain about his future with the Ibadan-based club for the upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Pyagbara, who joined the Oluyole Warriors midway through the just concluded season and scored 11 goals to help them finish fourth on the log, has attracted interest from several NPFL clubs.
A source close to the Shooting Stars’ camp revealed that multiple clubs have inquired about Pyagbara, aiming to secure his services for the next season.
The former Enyimba and Akwa United forward expressed uncertainty about his future, casting doubt on his chances of playing for Gbenga Ogunbote’s side next season.
“I never know if I am going or I am not going yet; we’ll see how it goes,” he told Brace Radio.
Notable clubs rumored to be interested in Pyagbara include champions Enugu Rangers and Enyimba FC.
