By Saheed Afolabi
FC Robo Queens playmaker, Shukurat Oladipo is confident that the club will qualify for the Nigeria Women’s Football League Premiership super six at the end of the current season.
The Lagos Landladies had a poor start to the season with only two wins from six matches and Shukurat believes the players are capable of turning around the fortunes of the club in the second stanza, while setting her personal goals.
“My expectations for the second round is that I expect the team to play better and I believe we are going to the Super 6,” she told Nigeriafootball.ng.
“My personal target for this season is making sure FC Robo Queens qualify for the Super 6 and also seeing myself play outside the country next season.
“I also see myself winning individual awards which should contribute to the FC Robo Queens success this season and I believe if we qualify for the super 6, we can win the league.”
FC Robo Queens are fifth on the NWFL Premiership group B with seven points from six matches and are five points adrift of table leaders Edo Queens.
Despite having just two wins, three losses and a draw, the Lagos Landladies still have the qualification for the Super Six at reach with more wins as they resume their campaign against Adamawa Queens in Yola on Wednesday.
