Sone Aluko Rescues Reading from Nine-Game Drought, Secures Victory Against QPR
In a dramatic turn of events, Nigeria forward Sone Aluko emerged as the savior for 10-man Reading, bringing an end to their nine-game winless streak with a hard-fought 1-0 triumph against visiting Queens Park Rangers in the English Championship on Friday.
Aluko’s moment of glory came in the 13th minute, concluding a four-month goal drought since his last strike for Reading in their 4-2 away victory against Derby County on November 4.
