Stanley Nwabali: Super Eagles keeper reacts to transfer rumors amidst Chippa United

Nigeria’s first choice goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali has disclosed that reports linking him with several clubs were just rumors as no offers have been submitted for his services with Chippa United.

The Super Eagles’ shot stopper was one of the stand out performers for Nigeria at the just concluded African Cup of Nations, AFCON tournament conceded just four goals in seven games.

He has been linked severally with a move away from Chippa United with Kaizer Chiefs and Belgian side, Royal Union Saint Gilloise among the suitors.

The former Enyimba and Wikki Tourists goalkeeper has however debunked the stories as he’s still with Chippa United and has not been approached by any club for his service.

“I only see offers online, to be honest, some of my friends send me screenshots to say, ‘hey bro, this offer is coming’ but to be honest, I haven’t seen an offer on my table.

“When sometimes there are rumours, I wish that they can all come to pass, but I haven’t seen any offer,” Nwabali told SNL24 in an short interview.

The 27-year-old still has two more years contract with Chippa United.
