In-form Nigerian midfielder Ibraheem Jabaar has set his sights on earning a call-up to the Super Eagles and making a move to Europe, following a standout season with South African club Stellenbosch FC.
Jabaar, a former Nigeria U-17 international, has played a key role for Stellenbosch this season, making 41 appearances across all competitions and featuring in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Speaking about his international ambitions, the 21-year-old expressed his strong desire to represent the senior national team.
“Obviously, it’s everyone’s dream to play for their country. So, I dream about it every time,” Jabaar said.
When asked what it would take to break into the Super Eagles squad, he responded: “I think it would depend on the coach. But if I get a call-up, obviously I would go there and do my job.”
Beyond national team ambitions, Jabaar is also focused on achieving a long-held goal—playing in Europe.
“Like I’ve always said from the start, I want to play in Europe. I know it’s coming, I’m going to get there,” he stated confidently.
With consistent performances in the South African Premier Soccer League (PSL), Jabaar’s upward trajectory could soon attract attention from both European scouts and Nigeria’s national team selectors.
