Nigeria’s rising football star, Junior Ajayi, has clinched the prestigious title of the best foreign player in the Egyptian League. The accolade was bestowed upon the Al Ahly forward at the annual Ahram awards held on Friday evening in Cairo, according to the official Al Ahly website.
Ajayi, who also shares the spotlight with his Al Ahly teammate Ahmed Fathi, was honored for his outstanding contributions to the team. The 22-year-old Nigerian forward has showcased his prowess in 44 matches since joining Al Ahly from CS Faxien of Tunisia in 2016, netting an impressive 16 goals.
