Super Lig: Ibrahim Olawoyin gutted over Rizespor’s home defeat to Galatasaray

Nigeria midfielder, Ibrahim Olawoyin has expressed disappointment over Rizespor’s loss to Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig encounter on Saturday.

Olawoyin was in action for the entire duration as his team bowed in the match despite dominating for the most part.

Sergio Oliveira scored the decisive goal for Galatasary in the 68th minutes few moments after coming on. Rizespor had what could have being their equalizer in the 70th minutes chalked off for offside after a review by VAR.

Olawoyin posted on his official ‘X’ handle expressing his disappointment with the draw but retained believe in the team’s quick resurgence.

“Sad way to lose a game after giving everything. We keep striving. .”

The victory gave Galatasary the chance to climb top of the Super Lig table with 28 points in 10 games while Rizespor are down to ninth with 24 points from games.

Olawoyin and his team mates will be hoping yo bounce back to good ways when they take on Gaziantep next week.
