Nigeria forward, Tolu Arokodare scored two goals to propel Belgian Jupiler Pro League side, Genk to a 2-2 draw away at Antwerp on Thursday.

Gyrano Kerk broke the deadlock for the host in the ninth minute of the Boxing Day clash.

The lead lasted for three minutes, after which Arokodare pounced on a loose ball inside the box and beat the goalkeeper with a shot into the bottom left corner for the equalizer.

Kerk’s second goal of the game in the 32nd minute restored Antwerp’s lead.

Six minutes into the second half, Arokodare salvaged a point for his side with a crucial goal.

He showed good composure inside the box to fire a first-time shot low into the middle of the net.

The two goals increased his tally to 13 after 20 league games. He has also provided four assists for Genk this season in the league.

The former Latvian-based player saw 83 minutes of action and was replaced by South Korean player Hyeon-Gyi Oh.

Genk topped the log with 42 points after 20 league games, a point ahead of Club Brugge.
