Tolu Arokodare pumped up over new found form with Genk

Nigeria forward Tolu Arokodare is thrilled with his impressive form for Genk in the Belgian Pro League, having scored six goals in eight matches, making him the league’s top scorer.
After a standout performance in a 4-0 victory against Dender, where he netted a goal he described as not his best, Arokodare emphasized that every goal counts.
“It wasn’t my best goal, but that doesn’t matter. A goal is a goal,” he told HBVL, recalling how the play unfolded.
“I headed the ball, and after a bit of chaos, it came back to me for the score. It was an individual effort, but the most important thing is helping the team.”
KRC Genk currently leads the Belgian Pro League with 19 points from eight matches, and they are set to face Mechelen on Saturday, September 28.
Arokodare’s contributions are vital as the team looks to maintain its strong start.
