Tosin Demehin thrilled to score first goal of the season in Stade de Reims victory

Nigeria defender, Tosin Demehin is thrilled to score her first goal of the season for Stade de Reims in a 5-2 win against Lille on Saturday.
The Les rouges et blancs (The Red and Whites) crushed Les Lilloises as Demehin powered home a 61st minute strike to net her side’s third goal of the game.
Rachel Corboz broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute before Noemie Mouchon doubled Stade de Reims advantage 11 minutes after the start of the second half.
Rofiat Imuran and youngster, Shana Chossenotte scored the fourth and fifth goal for the The Les rouges et blancs.

And the Super Falcons defense stalwart was delighted she ended the year 2023 on a good note as she expressed excitement over scoring for her French side.

“A wonderful way to finish the year. Ended the first phase of the league with styles. Glory to God. I’m thrilled to have scored my first goal for the team, first of many,” Demehin was quoted by X.
Stade de Reims are ranked fourth on the table with 18 points from ten matches and will resume hostilities in the French Ligue on January 10 when they face Saint-Étienne.
