Transfer: William Gallas tips Victor Osimhen to join Chelsea

French legend, William Gallas has backed Victor Osimhen to join Chelsea in the summer.

The Super Eagles striker was a lethal force in the Italian Serie A last season as he won the golden boot and contributed to Napoli’s historic Serie A win.

Gallas said Chelsea will sign Osimhen in the summer and believes the Nigerian has similar playing pattern with the Blues legend, Didier Drogba.

He believes Osimhen has the qualities of Drogba coupled with his speed which is a major advantage as he tipped the Super Eagles forward to paint the Premier League with goals.

“I think they [Chelsea] will sign Victor Osimhen in the summer. I don’t know Victor that well as a person but he’s similar to Drogba,” Gallas was quoted by Genting Casino.

“Didier was so strong but with Osimhen, he is also very quick.

“I am sure he will do a lot of damage in the Premier League.”

Osimhen has top the transfer request of major clubs in Europe and it’s speculated that PSG, Arsenal, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Manchester United are interested in his signature.
