By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

Former coach of Nigeria’s senior women’s national team, Uche Eucharia has frowned at the poor interest of Randy Waldrum over inclusion of Nigeria Women’s Football League Premiership players in his Super Falcons set up.

And the former Nigeria international feels the 66-year-old Super Falcons manager is

“The idea of mixing home-based with foreign-based players is ideal. I will prefer we invite more home-based players to the Super Falcons.” Eucharia told Brila FM.

The nine-time African champions have a date against World Cup-bound Haiti at the Emir Sports Complex in Antalya, Turkey on Friday, 7th April, before taking on Women’s World Cup co-hosts New Zealand at the Mardan Sports Complex also in Antalya on Tuesday, 11th April.

The clashes in April are to further test the strength of the African representative against other World Cup-bound teams, with this year’s edition being the biggest FIFA Women’s World Cup finals in history with 32 teams.
