Usman Barau seeks Katsina United fans’ backing for new NPFL season

Usman Bara’u, Captain of newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side, Katsina United has requested for improved supports from fans as the club begins fresh life in the top flight.

Bara’u who has being one club man with the ‘Chanji Boys’ was speaking ahead of the club’s opening match against Kwara United as he assured the fans that the club would make significant impact in the new season.

“We appeal to the club fans to be realistic and passionate during the discharge of the support to the team when the season resumes,” he told the club’s media.

“We want to see and feel the support from the start of the team’s opening match of the season against Kwara United.

“The players are ready to fight for the club in the upcoming NPFL season.”

Kastina United gained promotion to the NPFL last season.
