Victor Boniface earns Jay Jay Okocha’s accolades after fine start to life in Bundesliga

Former Nigeria international, Augustine Okocha has poured accolades on the country’s hottest prospect, Victor Boniface.

Boniface has been in sparkling hit since arriving at Bayer Leverkusen in the summer from Royal Union Saint-Gilloise, scoring seven goals this season for Leverkusen and contributed three assists in all competitions.

The Nigeria legend described Boniface as an amazing striker who he believes gives us hope of having a lethargic striker, stressing that talent abound in Nigeria and we have to find the best rhythm for them at the national team.

“He’s [Boniface] been amazing, It’s always great to see one of our own doing well. He gives us hope,” Okocha was quoted by LiveScore.

“It shows we are not short of talent. We [Nigeria] just need to get our act together!

“It’s now about finding a way to get the best out of them when they come to play for Nigeria.”
