Victor Boniface instrumental as Bayer Leverkusen snatch victory at Wolfsburg

Nigeria international Victor Boniface has continued his good form as he registered an assist for Bayer Leverkusen in their 2-1 victory over Wolfsburg at the Volkswagen Arena on Saturday.
The 22-year-old played for the duration of time as coach Xabi Alonso fixed him in the starting lineup and picked up his third assist of the season for the visitors
Boniface was one of the stars for Die Werkself who extended their unbeaten streak to eight matches.
The back-to-back Bundesliga Rookie of the Month only needed thirteen minutes to set up teammate, Jeremy Frimpong, who made no mistakes with an acrobatic finish to open the scoring.
Unfortunately for Bayer Leverkusen, their lead was only temporary as Maxence Lacroix scored the equaliser for Wolfsburg in the 41st minute before Grinaldo find the winner in the 62nd minute.
However, the goal meant Boniface has now assisted two of Frimpong’s goals this season as their partnership continues to blossom.
