Victor Boniface named in Europa League Team of the Season

Nigeria’s Victor Boniface has been named in the UEFA Europa League Team of the Season after an amazing with Union Saint Gilloise.
UEFA unveiled the Team of the Season on their official website on Sunday, with the Super Eagles hopeful earned a spot in the Europa League Team of the Season, a well-deserved recognition for his remarkable performance.
The 21-year-old striker is the joint top-scorer in the competition, along with Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford (6), and takes the central striker spot in the team.
Boniface scored six goals and provided one assist in 10 games for Union Saint Gilloise in the competition.
Although, Union Saint Gilloise were eliminated at the quarter-final stage by Bundesliga club, Bayer Leverkusen.
Boniface earned his spot with Marcus Rashford starts on the left-wing, while Dybala, who made the final with AS Roma, takes the right-wing spot.
Three other Roma players made the 11,including Pellegrini, Nemanja Matic and Chris Smalling, while four from the champions, Sevilla, made it, Jesus Navas, Marcus Acuna, Yacine Bonou and Ivan Rakitic.
