Victor Boniface returns to training with Bayer Leverkusen after failed Saudi move

Nigeria forward Victor Boniface is back in training with German Bundesliga side, Bayer Leverkusen after a transfer deal fell through.
After Victor Boniface’s proposed transfer to the Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr fell through, the Super Eagles forward has returned to training with the Bayer Leverkusen squad.
He is set to compete against Hoffenheim on Sunday in the German Bundesliga.
Boniface is back to training after recovering from his recent injury layoff.
He has scored six goals with an assist in 10 league games this season.
This is the second season with the German side for the former Bodo/Glimt player.
He converted 14 goals with eight assists as Bayer won the Bundesliga title last season and reached the final of the UEFA Europa League where the team lost to Ademola Lookman’s hat trick and Atalanta.
The Super Eagles player joined Bayer Leverkusen from Belgian side, Royale Union.
