The Pride of Rivers struggled to reach the quarter final of the CAFCC after defeating Dreams FC 2-1 in Uyo.
Ikpeba urged Rivers United to step up their performance if they are to excel at the CAFCC and believes the quarter final won’t be an easy ride for the Pride of Rivers and they must avoid any form of errors in the knockout stages.
“Rivers United must step up in their next game if they are to do well in the quarter finals,” Ikpeba said on Super Sports.
“For sure, the quarter finals won’t come easy for Rivers United and they must do their home very well. There should be no room for errors at this stages of the tournament.”
The win against Dreams FC took Rivers Angels to the top of the group C summit with 12 points same points with their Ghanian side as Club Africain were eliminated after a 1-1 draw with Academia to finish in third place.
