Victor Osimhen backed by Louis Saha to lead Manchester United’s attack

By Wale Mustapha

Former France and Manchester United striker Louis Saha has endorsed Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen as the ideal candidate to revitalize Manchester United’s struggling attack.

Saha, who spent five seasons at Old Trafford, believes Osimhen has the quality, experience, and presence to make a significant impact at the club.

Speaking to Mega Dice, the ex-France international highlighted Osimhen’s proven track record across Europe as a key reason why the Red Devils should target him.

“I really like Victor Osimhen. He has the character and the quality. He was successful in France, champion in Italy, and brilliant in Turkey,” Saha said.

“He has scored at every level. He has Champions League experience, personality, and charisma that United’s squad could have benefited from. I think he would have been a transformational signing for United.”

Manchester United are expected to return to the transfer market this summer in search of a new centre-forward, following a disappointing season that saw current strikers Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Højlund struggle to consistently deliver goals.

Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has been in prolific form, scoring 30 goals and registering five assists in 34 appearances across all competitions this season.

With several top clubs reportedly interested, the 25-year-old is expected to make a decision on his future at the end of the campaign.
