Victor Osimhen has been discharged from hospital following a successful operation on a fractured arm, his club Galatasaray S.K. have confirmed.
The Nigeria international underwent a three-hour surgical procedure at Maslak Acıbadem Hospital in Istanbul earlier this week. The operation was carried out by the club’s medical director Yener İnce and his team.
Osimhen had initially received treatment in England, where his arm was placed in a cast, before spending a short period in Nigeria. He later travelled to Turkey for further medical care and surgery.
Turkish football analyst Burhan Can Terzi reported that the procedure was successful, with the striker discharged shortly afterward.
Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek also visited Osimhen during his recovery and expressed optimism about his condition.
The forward is now expected to begin rehabilitation as he works his way back to full fitness.
