Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has rewarded Remo Stars with a ₦10 million cash gift following their historic triumph in the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The Galatasaray striker, moved by the club’s landmark achievement, personally congratulated the players and coaching staff via phone and announced the monetary reward as a token of appreciation for their hard work and determination.

Osimhen directed ₦5 million to the players and another ₦5 million to the technical crew, recognizing the unified effort that delivered the club’s first-ever NPFL title.

The feat also marks the first time in 25 years that a club from Nigeria’s South West region has lifted the trophy.

“This is not just about winning a title—it’s about inspiring a region, a generation,” Osimhen said. “Remo Stars have made history, and I hope this support encourages them to achieve even more.”
