WAFA League 2025 Super 8 set to thrill in Ijebu Ode

The excitement is building for the Women Accredited Football Academy (WAFA) League 2025 Super 8, which will take centre stage at the Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, from September 28 to October 5, 2025.

This season’s WAFA League featured 22 women’s academies battling it out across four competitive groups, with only the top two teams from each group advancing. Now, the stage is set for a week of thrilling football, intense rivalries, and a showcase of Nigeria’s rising female stars.

The Super 8 Contenders

The following academies have emerged as the elite eight:

STM Doves FA (Ojota)

Victory Queens FA (Ikorodu)

CATS Ladies FA (Surulere)

Wazbak Queens International (Lagos Island)

SGH Amazon FA (Agege)

MJV FA (Mushin)

Royaltoms Queens FA (Sango Ota)

Ijamido Queens (Sango Ota)

Each team has proven its talent, determination, and tactical strength, cementing their status as the cream of Nigeria’s women’s academy football.

The eventual winners will lift the WAFA League trophy and gain recognition as Nigeria’s top women’s football academy for 2025.
