WAFU-B CAFWCL: Bayelsa Queens rewarded with USFA semifinal date

Bayelsa Queens will meet USFA in the semi final of the 2025 West Africa Zone B (WAFU-B) Women’s Champions League Qualifiers.

The Nigerian champions topped Group B with a maximum of nine points after thee games to set up a last four date with the Burkina Faso champions.

They defeated Police Ladies (Ghana), ASKO (Togo), and Sam Nelly FC (Benin Republic) scoring nine goals and conceding two.

USFA finished second in Group A with three points to reach the semi final.

Historically, this will be second meeting between Bayelsa Queens and USFA in the tournament.

At the 2022 edition, the Nigerian side secured a 3-1 win over USFA in their final Group B encounter.

Flourish Sabastine, Etim Edidiong, and Aderemi Mary scored for the Club while Lala Traore pulled a goal back for the Burkina Faso side.

The winner of the WAFU-B tournament will represent the zone at the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League, the fifth edition of the flagship women’s club football competition on the continent.
