‘We have to be honest’ – Romelu Lukaku eulogises Osimhen as best striker in Serie A

Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku has hailed Victor Osimhen as the best striker in the Italian Serie A at the moment.
The Napoli man Osimhen has continued to draw accolades from different quarters for his impressive run of form in the current campaign with the latest from another highly rated striker in the Serie A.
Osimhen, 24, has scored nine league goals in the current campaign putting Napoli at the top of the Serie A standings with a reasonable margin over AC Milan and the chasing pack and the Belgian star who commended Luciano Spalletti for turning the story of Napoli around said the club are well placed to win the league.
“Spalletti has done a great job, we have to say, they have really strong players. I’ve been out and seen many of their games,” Lukaku told media.
“Napoli are in a good moment. Osimhen scores many goals, [Piotr] Zielinski is well, Kvara [Khvicha Kvaratskhelia], on the left, [Hirving] Lozano or [Matteo] Politano on the right.
“Osimhen is really strong, now he’s the best striker. We have to be honest. He’s strong and he’s doing really well for Napoli. They are first in the standings. We have respect, but not fear.”
Lukaku and Osimhen will go head to head at the San Siro Stadium on Wednesday when Inter Milan hosts Napoli in the first Italian Serie A match since the World Cup break.
