“We have Victor Osimhen” — Galatasaray brags about Super Eagles star

By Monsurah Olatunji

Galatasaray and their fans are celebrating their Nigerian superstar, Victor Osimhen, after the striker delivered another match-winning performance in their crucial 2-1 victory against Alanyaspor on Sunday.

The 26-year-old, on loan from Napoli, was relatively quiet for most of the match, but his decisive header in the 82nd minute gave Galatasaray the lead and potentially sealed the win in an away stadium.

This latest goal marked Osimhen’s 22nd of the season, alongside five assists in 28 appearances across all competitions, including 17 goals in 21 Super Lig matches.

After a challenging six-match winless streak, Galatasaray needed a spark, and Osimhen provided it when his header sent the stadium into jubilation.

The victory extended their lead at the top of the Super Lig to seven points, putting them in a strong position as they continue their title chase.

Following the goal, Galatasaray’s official social media page posted a cheeky message: “We have Osimhen, they don’t,” a clear jab at their title rivals.

With Osimhen continuing to shine, the Lions are looking increasingly dominant in their pursuit of the Super Lig title.
