“We want to achieve top 10 finish ” — Alex Iwobi sets Fulham target

Nigeria international Alex Iwobi has praised teammate Emile Smith Rowe following his standout performance in Fulham’s narrow win over Leicester City.

Smith Rowe, who joined Fulham in a club-record £27 million deal with potential add-ons, scored his first Premier League goal in over two years, with Iwobi securing the match-winning goal in the second half.

The two players previously teamed up at Arsenal, and Iwobi highlighted Smith Rowe’s impact on Fulham’s aspirations.

“He’s an attacking threat and very intelligent on and off the ball,” Iwobi remarked, noting that Smith Rowe’s presence is crucial as Fulham aims to be more dynamic.

Iwobi also praised Smith Rowe’s progress during pre-season and expressed optimism about the squad’s depth and competition.

“We have at least two players per position now, which creates healthy competition. Our goal is to push into the top 10,” he added.

Under Marco Silva’s management, Iwobi has become an integral part of the team and is excited about Fulham’s potential for the season ahead.
