Troost-Ekong said he has trained with the ball on the grass and he will join the rest of his side in some days.
The Paok defender noted he was initially scared after the surgery because he could be out for some months but he’s glad with the fast recovery rate.
“I have had my first session on grass with the ball and I am just a matter of days to rejoining the group,” Troost-Ekong was quoted by Eagle7fm.
“It was first feared I will be out for three, four months, but it is now just seven weeks after surgery.”
Despite a 2-1 loss to Olympiacos over the weekend, PAOK tops the Greece Super League with 72 points from 32 marches.
