Women’s Federations Cup: Bayelsa Queens start title defence against Bright Future

The race for the 2024 Women’s Federations Cup is set after the draw for the Round of 32 by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Thursday.

Holders, Bayelsa Queens will stay their title defence against Bright Future Queens from Enugu state.

2023 women’s finalist, Rivers Angels will start their quest to claim the title when they face another top-flight Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership side, Ekiti Queens.

The game is the only clash involving two top-flight teams. There is a South-South derby in the cooler as Delta Queen’s square up against Fortress Ladies from Edo State.

Ogun State champions, Remo Stars Ladies are up against OSKE Leans of Rivers State.

NWFL Premiership side, Abia Angels, and another team from Ogun State, Castmog Ladies will settle scores.

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) FA Cup winner, Naija Ratels FC plays ON Youth Academy in a clash of two teams from FCT.

Lagos perennial FA Cup winners, FC Robo Queens were drawn to face Omimang of Ondo state.

The women’s side will commence from Round of 16 while the men’s end starts from Round of 64.
