Yetunde Fajobi shines in Zamalek’s victory over Modern

Yetunde Fajobi was part of goal scorers as Zamalek defeated Modern 3-1 in the Egyptian women’s football league encounter.

Two goals from Moral lifted the host to another win in their quest to win the title.

Fajobi also added a goal gor Zamalek while Osha pulled a goal back for the travelers.

Fajobi played for Osun Babes and Edo Queens in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership before moving to Egypt.

Zamalek also houses her compatriot, Alice Ogebe who they both played together at Edo Queens.

With the win Zamalek occupy the fifth position on the table with 12 points after eight games alongside champions, FC Masar which is currently playing at the 2024 CAF Women’s League.

Modern Sports and Aviation also have 12 points, nine less than league leaders, Al Ahly.
