Argentine superstar Alejandro Garnacho bagged a brace as Manchester United Youth beat Nottingham Forest 3-1 in a packed Old Trafford to win the FA Youth Cup for a record 11th time.
Defender Rhys Bennett gave United the lead after the captain connected well with a free-kick to head in the hosts’ opener.
Alejandro Garnacho scored more goals (7) than any other player during the 2021/22 FA Youth Cup, including two in the final.

United keeper Vitek was at fault when he saw the ball slip through his hands after pressure from the visitors bore fruit with the game placed at 1-1 during the halftime break.
While Forest continued to pile pressure with some proper display in the second half, Garnacho who was pressing high up was fouled outside the box but the referee pointed to the spot with the Argentine making no mistake from 12 yards.

It was the player again who ensured the trophy was home with a brilliant solo effort that ricocheted off a Forest defender and into the net for United’s third goal.
