2023 Afcon qualifiers: Sao Tome and Principe announce roster for Nigeria clash

Sao Tome and Principe have announced list of 22 players for the final of the 2023 African Cup of Nations, (AFCON) qualifying match against Nigeria in Uyo on September 10.
On Saturday, the Central African nation named a roster that will square up against the three-time African champions in their final game of the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers despite already out of the qualification race.
The first leg of the encounter set the tone for a disappointing runs for Sao Tome after suffering a heavy 10-0 defeat to the Super Eagles on their home ground.
The young football nation, however aiming a decent result in the dead rubber match against Jose Peseiro’s men.
But for pride and pedigree at stake, the match billed for the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo will only serve as jamboree.
