Football fans across the continent react as Nigeria fell to a shocking 1-0 loss against Guinea-Bissau in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers on Friday, March 24, 2023, at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

While Nigerian fans express their displeasure, other African fans leverage the opportunity to troll the three-time champions who boast of talents and some of the best strikers in the world right now.

The Super Eagles started the game up front with Samuel Chukwueze, Kelechi Iheanacho, Ademola Lookman, and man of the moment Victor Osimhen. These players have contributed over 80 goals for top clubs in Europe.

While on the bench they are flooded with pool of match-changing talents like Moses Simon, Paul Onuachu, and Terem Moffi, amongst others.

However, the big guns find it difficult to find the back of the net as Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi oversee the affairs from midfield.

After the historic loss that saw the Super Eagles lose to Guinea-Bissau for the first time ever, football fans took to social media to express their displeasure, and here are some of their reactions.
