2023 AFCONq: Guinea Bissau to hit Abuja for Nigeria clash on Tuesday

As the qualifying series for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) makes a return, Nigeria will play host to West African foes Guinea-Bissau in two fixtures spread over three days.
The Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau are expected to arrive Abuja on Tuesday, March 21, for the first leg of the qualification, with the first leg fixture of the doubleheader billed for the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Friday, March 24.
Three days later, the Super Eagles will journey to Guinea-Bissau to play at the newly-renovated Nacional 24 de Setembro Stadium.
According to the Guinea-Bissau Football Federation, the Djurtus will kick-start preparations for the game on Sunday, March 19, with the players and their officials expected to travel to Nigeria for the game two days later.
Nigeria top the group with six points from two matches, while Guinea Bissau occupy second spot with four points from same number of matches.
