Nigeria U-17 women’s national team recorded their consecutive 6-0 win over the Central African Republic (CAR) to progress into the next round of the qualifiers.

The first leg in Douala ended similarly as it took two minutes for Imo Strikers forward, Chidi Harmony to break the deadlock in the return leg on Friday.

Harmony doubled the lead in the 14th minute of play.

Nasarawa Amazon’s Ojiyovwi Kesiena made it three before the halftime break.

After the interval, two goals from Kareem Ramota made it 5-0.

Harmony got her hat trick with her last goal of the match in the 90th minute.

Bankole Olowookere’s side secured a 12-0 aggregate win and have thus progressed to the next round.

The team will face Burkina Faso in the next round of the qualifiers.
