The third edition of the Judith Chime Championship is now down to the last four after the conclusion of quarter-final games in Enugu on Thursday.

Giant Empress edged Zohar FC 1-0 thanks to Ohuchi Agnes’ goal to book a place in the semi-finals.

Holders, Imo Striker Queens recorded the same scoreline against Solo Wonders to remain in contention to retain the title.

Pathra Oparamegwa’s free kick from 30 yards looped into the net to separate both sides.

Elsewhere, Greenfoot Academy secured their spot in the last four after a 3-0 win against Rising Star FC.

A brace from Anastasia lifted Rising Star to victory sealing a place in the semifinals.

A highly competitive match between Immaculate Queens and Bravehearts FC ended 1-1 as Happiness Iloedozie canceled out Zuberu Ramat’s opener for the latter.

Immaculate Queens emerged winners 6-5 on penalties and will face Greenfoot Academy in the semi-final on Friday.

The other semi-final is between holders, Imo Striker Queens and Giant Empress.

The 2023 Judith Chime Championship will wrap up next weekend when the champions will be crowned in Enugu.
