2024 WAFU-B U-17 Girls Cup: Cote D’Ivoire invites 20 players for Flamingos

Cote D’Ivoire U-17 women’s national team will comprise 20 players for the maiden edition of West Africa Zone B (WAFU-B) U-17 Girls Cup.

Federation Ivoirienne de Football published the roster for the 2024 WAFU-B U-17 Girls Cup where the team will face Nigeria and Niger Republic in Group B.

Two goalkeepers, seven defenders, six midfielders, and five attackers made the squad.

On December 14, 2023, Cote D’Ivoire will open their campaign against Niger Republic.

This will be followed by the clash with Nigeria on December 16, which will determine the two teams that will zoom into the semi-final.

Nigeria’s Flamingos, under the tutelage of Bankole Olowookere, will start their campaign against Niger Republic on December 12.

The 2024 WAFU-B U-17 Girls Cup will take place from December 12 to 26 in Prampram, Ghana.
