NPFL Summons Kun Khalifat FC Media Officer Over Double Standards Allegation

The Media Officer of Kun Khalifat FC, Saviola Godwin Otu, has been invited to appear before the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) following allegations of double standards levelled against the league body.

Otu is expected to attend a hearing at the NPFL headquarters in Abuja on February 17.

The invitation comes after he alleged that Katsina United were granted a reprieve in circumstances similar to Kun Khalifat FC’s failure to honour their fixture against El-Kanemi Warriors.

According to the notice, Otu has been directed to present evidence to substantiate his claims, including relevant documents, audio recordings, or visual materials.

The development adds another layer to the controversy surrounding the enforcement of league regulations, as the NPFL seeks clarification over the allegations.
