2025 Nigeria Beach Soccer League Super Finals kick off in Abuja

The highly anticipated 2025 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) Super Finals kicked off in grand style on Thursday at Jabi Lake Park, Abuja, with three entertaining matches that set the tone for an exciting tournament.

In the opening game of the day, 2022 champions Kada BSC began their campaign with an impressive 8–5 victory over Kebbi United BSC.
Star forward Frank Dozie stole the show with four goals to earn the Man of the Match award, while Sani Hassan and Hammed Kareem added two goals apiece for the Kaduna-based side.

Kebbi United’s efforts were not without highlights, as Isyaku Atiku, Ibrahim Malami, Sadik Umar, Abdullahi Aliyu, and Usman Bello each found the back of the net.

Later in the evening, Kebbi United BSC bounced back from their earlier defeat to secure a 5–3 win over Jigawa Golden Stars BSC.
Sadik Umar netted four goals in a stellar display, supported by Ibrahim Malami’s strike. Jigawa’s Aliyu Rabiu, Bagudu Hamza, and Magudi Atahiru scored to keep the contest competitive.

Defending champions Kebbi Fishers BSC closed the day in dominant fashion, thrashing Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors 6–1 in the final match.
Hamza Manga led the scoring with a hat-trick, while Ekene Obi, Taiwo Adams, and Hassan Abdullahi each added a goal to seal the emphatic victory.
Stanley Ekwo scored the consolation for the Nnewi-based side.

Action continues on Day Two, with three more fixtures lined up as the race for the 2025 NBSL Super Finals title intensifies at Jabi Lake Park.
