Nigeria international, Jamilu Collins has promised the national team fans of positive and impactful result in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The three-time African champions will begin their campaign against Lesotho on Thursday, November 16 before jetting outside the country to face Zimbabwe on Sunday, November 19.
The Super Eagles left-back said the players are excited as they look forward to the two matches, noting that the players have utmost belief in the fans and count on their support to excel.
“We are excited for the games coming up, everyone called up is looking forward to it,” Collins told NFF TV.
“The mindset is Let’s do it again , the one you guys are promoting at the moment. We believe in Nigerians, we know they will always support us. We are always grateful to the fans for their support. We want to give them a good result.
“There is no competition, we are in the national team, everyone is here to give their best. Whoever has the chance to play must give their best. I don’t think there is competition, we are here to make our country proud.”
