2026 World Cup Qualifiers: Super Eagles camp swell to 21 players ahead of first training session on Tuesday

Ahead of their first training session on Tuesday, the camp of Nigeria’s senior men’s national team as at Tuesday morning comprises 21 players.

The arrival of captain William Troost Ekong, Wilfred Ndidi, Calvin Bassey, Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi, Joseph Aribo, Igoh Ogbu, Bright Osayi Samuel, and Ola Aina brought the number of players in camp to 21.

Moses Simon, Victor Boniface, Raphael Onyedika, Jordan Torunarigha, Stanley Nwabali, and Samuel Chukwueze joined early birds on Monday evening.

The team camp opened with six early birds in Kigali, Rwanda on Sunday.

Victor Osimhen, Bruno Onyemaechi, Papa Daniel Mustapha, Kayode Bankole, Amas Obasogie, and Tolu Arokodare were early arrivals to the camp.

Sadiq Umar and Alhassan Yusuf are the two expected players.

Super Eagles will have their first training session ahead of their clash with Rwanda on Tuesday.

Nigeria will confront group C leaders Rwanda in Kigali on Friday, 21st March, before taking on Zimbabwe’s Warriors at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, four days later.
