4 Delta Queens make WAFU-B Champions League qualifiers Team of the Tournament

The pair of Chinaza Agoh and Mercy Omokwo completed The Pearls players in the team.

Champions, Ampem Darkoa had five players, Mavis Owusu, Comfort Yeboah, Nancy Amoh, Ophelia Amponsah, and Mary Amponsah in the team.

The third-placed team in the tournament, Athletico FC of Ivory Coast had two representatives in the team, Joy Sunday and Grewa Estelle.

Ampem Darkoa and host Athletico FC have qualified for the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League.

This will be the second time that two teams from the WAFU-B zone will qualify for the CAF Women’s Champions League after Hasaacas Ladies and Rivers Angels in 2021.
