CAFCC: Augustine Okejepha targets Rivers United’s double over USM Alger

Rivers United’s defensive midfielder, Augustine Okejepha has expressed his team’s readiness to complete the double against USM Alger when they meet for the second leg quarterfinal of CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.

Okejepha scored the decisive goal when both sides meet last weekend in Uyo which has put the Port Harcourt based outfit in driving seat.

The Pride of Rivers contingent arrived Algiers on Friday in readiness for the second and decisive leg on Sunday where Okejepha stated that the team is eagerly waiting for the clash.

“We are rearing to go and on Sunday we are going to win,” he stated.

“Just like the way we did in Nigeria, we will go harder on them, just the way they came and we are going to get the victory.”

Rivers United crashed out at this stage of the competition last season after lost to Yanga SC of Tanzania.
