Wikki Tourists set to unveil Abdu Maikaba as new Technical Adviser

Nigeria National League (NNL) side Wikki Tourists have announced the appointment of veteran coach Abdu Maikaba as their new Technical Adviser.
Maikaba, who left his role as Head Coach of Kano Pillars at the end of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, will be returning to Wikki Tourists for the second time, having previously managed the club in 2016.
The 59-year-old’s appointment was officially announced by the Bauchi Club on Wednesday.
Maikaba brings a wealth of experience to Wikki Tourists, having also coached prominent teams such as Rangers, Plateau United, and Akwa United.
Despite their efforts, Wikki Tourists were unsuccessful in their attempt to gain promotion to the NPFL last season.
The club is hopeful that Maikaba’s expertise and familiarity with the team will help them achieve their goals in the upcoming season.
