Ekiti United and Queens get new management and technical crews

The Ekiti State Government has announced new technical and management crews for Ekiti United and Ekiti Queens ahead of their Nigeria National League and Nigeria Women Football League Premiership campaigns next season on Monday.

In a statement issued by the office of the Technical Advisor on Sports Development, Dr Olusola Osetoba says the new head coach for Ekiti United FC is Akin Olowookere while Candy Jacob is the head Coach for Ekiti Queens FC.

Adewunmu Taiwo Moses will assist Jacob at Ekiti Queens as Moji Ogunsakin got the Team Manager’s role.

For Ekiti United, Babajide Olusola Babatola will take charge as the Team Manager while Salawu Rotimi will assist coach Olowookere.

Ekiti Queens qualified for the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership for the first time in 2023.

The team maintained their status at the end of the 2023/2024 league season.

Below is the full list of names of Technical Crews for both Teams:

Ekiti Queens FC: Team Manager – Moji Ogunsakin, Head Coach-Vandy Jacob, Assistant Coach 1-Adewumi Taiwo Moses, Assistant Coach 2-Bailey Abimbola Flora, Goalkeeper Trainer -Alabi Abiodun Emmanuel, Welfare – Okunola Felicia, Medical -Alade Kolawole Benson.

Others are; Nurse – Abioye Bisola, Camp Commandant-Bunmi Isijola, Masseur-Adesoye Bright, Kit Manager-Oyekunle Fatoba and Secretary-Babatunde Damilola.

Ekiti United: Team Manager-Babajide Olusola Babatola, Head Coach-Olowokere Akindele, Assistant Coach 1-Salawu Rotimi, Assistant Coach 2-Afolabi Mayowa, Goalkeeper Trainer -Bamidele Kolawole.

Others are; Welfare-Osegboun Anthony, Nurse 1-Omoboriowo Sade, Nurse 2-Ajayi Christianah Seun, Camp Commandant-Arowolo Kayode, Masseur-Ayodele Dabiri, Kit Manager-Apata Temidayo, and Secretary -Idowu Boluwaji Samuel.
