LaLiga: Boost for Sevilla as Nigerian winger Ejuke returns to full training

By Wale Mustapha

Nigerian forward Chidera Ejuke has made a positive step towards recovery as he returns to training with his La Liga side, Sevilla, following an injury layoff.

Ejuke suffered a serious hamstring injury during Sevilla’s clash with Barcelona last month, which sidelined him for several weeks.

However, the Super Eagles winger has now resumed training on grass after making significant progress in his recovery.

While Ejuke has returned to training, he is not expected to be back in full-time action until January 2025.

The 25-year-old, who joined Sevilla on a free transfer in the summer, had scored once in eight league appearances before the injury.

His return to full fitness will be a welcome boost for the Rojiblancos as they look to strengthen their squad in the coming months.
