Profemateur 7 marks 10th Anniversary with “Unity in Motion” celebration – LOC Chairman Moses Bako Nagogo shares vision

The 10th anniversary of Profemateur 7 is set to deliver an electrifying celebration of women’s football in Nigeria, according to Local Organizing Committee (LOC) Chairman, Moses Bako Nagogo.
Speaking ahead of the milestone edition, Nagogo outlined his vision for the tournament, themed “Unity in Motion”, stressing the values of togetherness, sportsmanship, and women’s empowerment through football.
“As we celebrate a decade of promoting women’s football, I’m confident that this year’s Profemateur 7 will be a memorable one. Our theme, ‘Unity in Motion,’ reflects the spirit of togetherness and sportsmanship that defines our competition. We’re expecting thrilling matches, inspiring performances, and a celebration of women’s empowerment through sports.”
What to Expect in the 2025 Edition.
10 teams will compete in a group stage and knockout format.
A dedicated program to empower young girls and promote women’s football.
Daily social media contests and prizes.
Recognition of champions, runners-up, and individual excellence.

Call for Support
Nagogo extended an invitation to sponsors and volunteers to partner with the LOC in ensuring a successful edition.
“Your support will help us promote women’s football and empower young girls through sports,” he said.
Special Acknowledgement
The LOC Chairman also commended the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) under Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau for their commitment to grassroots football and congratulated the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) on its successful return nationwide.
“Their efforts will definitely help to promote women’s football and provide opportunities for female players to showcase their talents.”
With its 10th edition, Profemateur 7 aims not only to celebrate women’s football but also to continue serving as a platform for unity, development, and empowerment.
