Edna Imade fires Real Sociedad past Eibar to fuel Super Falcons ambitions

By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

Real Sociedad earned a commanding 3–0 away victory over Eibar on Sunday at Ipurua, with Nigerian forward Edna Imade stealing the show after netting a superb brace.

Imade opened the scoring early on before sealing her double with a spectacular header, putting the game beyond reach for the hosts.

Claire Lavogeze added a late third to complete the emphatic win for La Real.

The in-form Nigerian prospect has now scored six goals in her last four matches, moving joint top of the Liga F scoring charts alongside Claudia Pina and Ewa Pajor.

Imade’s clinical form continues to underline her growing reputation as one of the brightest emerging talents in Spanish women’s football.
