Nigeria’s senior women’s national team have settled into camp at Hotel Sarakawa, Lome, Togo.

The 10 time African champions intensify preparations ahead of their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Qualifiers clash against Benin Republic.

Several players have already reported to camp, including team captain Asisat Oshoala, Taiwo Afolabi, Folashade Ijamilusi, Miracle Usani, Joy Omewa, Aderline Mgbechi, Blessing Illivieda, and Kafayat Mafisere.

Super Falcons are expected to have their first training session when the squad number increases as more players arrive to complete the team.

Head coach Justine Madugu and his technical crew are focused on building momentum as the team targets qualification for the continental championship, where Nigeria will aim to defend the title they won in Morocco in 2024.
